China Beat India Ladakh

China's decision to establish two new counties in an important part of Ladakh, including a large portion of the Aksai Chin area, has emerged as a significant challenge for India. This move comes just as India and China began talks on their border dispute. India has also lodged a formal protest against Beijing’s decision, and this marks the first time that both countries have openly objected to the Himalayan border dispute. Chinese authorities approved the establishment of the new counties after the approval of the Communist Party and the State Council, which include a significant portion of the Aksai Chin area. India claims that China has illegally occupied this territory. In 2020, several Indian soldiers were killed during border clashes, which escalated tensions between the two countries. Experts believe that this move by China could undermine India's aspirations for dominance in the region and may lead to further escalation of tensions.
