FORMER PM BANGLADESH WARRENT

Dhaka: A Bangladeshi court has issued arrest warrants for former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed. According to foreign news agencies, the Bangladeshi court has issued arrest warrants for Hasina Wazed for the second time. The Chief Prosecutor stated that the court has issued warrants for Hasina Wazed and 11 others, and the warrants were issued in connection with alleged involvements in enforced disappearances. It is noteworthy that Hasina Wazed fled Bangladesh to India last year following severe public protests. Previously, arrest warrants had also been issued for Hasina Wazed on charges of crimes against humanity.
